Gator ATS

active treatment system for stormwater runoff

ensuring regulatory Runoff

The Gator Box active treatment system is specifically designed to manage and treat stormwater runoff, which is water that accumulates after rainfall and flows over a surface, potentially picking up pollutants and contaminants along the way. The primary goal of Gator ATS is to mitigate the negative environmental impact of stormwater by treating it before it enters natural water bodies or municipal drainage systems.

The system is removing water from a catch basin before it reaches the river, cleaning the water, and then returning the treated water to the storm system for discharge into the river. The blue box serves as a dewatering sludge box, where Gator Box deposits the flocculated sludge material for removal to a landfill.

Easy & Automated

Setting up the Gator Box as an active treatment system is a straightforward process. Gator ATS can function as a fully automated system, activated by float switches or timers. Although the Gator Box itself doesn't require power to operate, power is essential for turning pumps on and off, allowing the system to function without the need for anyone to be present.

  • This system is particularly useful in meeting NPDES permits by aiding in the control of water quality.

  • It can be employed for dewatering construction stormwater ponds to maintain safe operating levels.

  • Remote monitoring capabilities enable the generation of discharge reports, enhancing the system's efficiency and providing valuable insights into water treatment processes.
